Vera Polozkova’s concert will take place in
Helsinki on April 27th.
In recent years,
Faith has become the
voice of a generation. Her poetry
speaks about feelings and experiences that are shared by millions. At times when the familiar world was collapsing, her texts helped to hear herself and not lose inner point of support.Polozkova’s texts have been
living in the lives of her readers and
listeners for a long time: they
return to them in order
to hear the right words again. At her concerts,
there is no distance between the stage and the audience: she does not recite
"from top to bottom", but
talks to the audience. It’s
easy to recognize yourself in these works, and therefore they
sound like an inner voice that finally takes shape. Her performances gather
full halls in dozens of countries, from Canada to Australia. After the concerts,
people line up to say thank you or share their story.Poems that became famous in previous years,
texts from a new book and prose that is rarely heard at concerts
will be performed in Helsinki. The language of the event is Russian.Hurry up and buy
the cheapest early bird tickets. They’re getting scarcer every day.
