Vera Polozkova once quietly revolutionized modern poetry, expanding its boundaries and literally making young audiences fall in love with the word of poetry. Today Polozkova’s poetry, which was once a revelation, the voice of a generation, has turned into a phenomenon of the new time: people of different ages, united by their love not only for Vera’s poetic images, but also for her vivid rhymes, her humanity and freedom-loving nature, her desire to learn the secrets of life and non-existence, become direct participants of the poetess’s work in different corners of the world.

Vera Polozkova about her new book:
"I have written a new book, the first one that is not published in Russia. It is called "Lost and found", and it contains 77 texts: about love, about war, about craft, about time, about memory, about what is lost and what is found. 77 because that’s how old my mother was, who left me this year, and to her memory this book and this concert series are dedicated: her heart, her strength, her humor, her incredible, indomitable will to live and her ability to brighten the days of everyone she loved. No, this is not a memorial or mourning book; my mom wouldn’t have wanted that. Rather, it’s about gratitude for the good fortune of being alive and feeling everything three times sharper, because no one now knows how much will be let go or what is yet to come. It’s about what we’ve learned to appreciate after losing so much forever."
