In the past thirty years, music of the renowned Belarusian band Lyapis Trubetskoy has undergone drastic transformation: cheerful, carefree compositions like "Au", "Ti kinula" ("You Gave Me Up"), "V plat’ye belom" ("In A White Dress") have given way to socio-political punk rock music that speaks up on deeper matters. Lyapis Trubetskoy has managed to create contagious rock melodies together with lyrics that are filled with dark humour and political satire. "Capital", "Matryoshka", "Warriors of Light" and other singles inspire people all across countries to defend their freedom and fight for their political views.

Over the years of active creative work, Lyapis Trubetskoy toured around the world performing for their dedicated audience. Lyapis Trubetskoy’s music videos have become a real Internet sensation and now they have millions of views on Youtube. Music band broke up in 2014, however, 8 years later Lyapis Trubetskoy reunited with Sergey Mikhalok as its permanent band leader.
