Myths and Legends of 2026

How did it happen that the whole world once again came together in a confrontation, discussing the adventures of Odysseus? Why has modern Russia suddenly turned into an ancient Greek labyrinth where sacrifices are made to the Minotaur?

Mythology shapes our thinking, even if we are not fully aware of it. Ancient stories, told in various ways a million times, return again and again, stirring us up and frightening us, tempting us and captivating us.

How does looking at the movie screen help us better understand not only the world around us but also ourselves? Are there really heroes and princesses, monsters and gods from myths hidden within each of us, which wake up the moment we step into the auditorium? The renowned film critic Anton Dolin will attempt to provide answers to these questions.

In addition to the lecture, the event will include questions and answers, as well as an autograph session.
